Home game BBQ's
Volunteers needed
In order to operate BBQ's at our home games, we need volunteers. If you can assist for an hour on our upcoming BBQ for Round 5 - 28th May, please email me so that I can put you on the roster.
We require at least 3 volunteers across the day during each 1 hour timeslot. Please view the Volunteer roster to see available spots.
If we don't get enough volunteers then the BBQ will not operate.

Injuries, Insurance Claims & what to do
With the season now underway we will unfortunately (but hopefully not) see some serious injuries. It is often confusing about what we can do as a Club and how AFL Canberra supports us through this. If the injury sustained is significant you may wish to look into an Insurance claim. Marsh Insurance is the insurance company that covers the AFL & can provide this advice.
Making Claims
Making a Personal Injury Claim.
Information on what is covered can be found here.
If an injury occurs to one of the clubs players or volunteers, you should do the following:
Visit the Marsh AFL website to read the Summary information
Download the Personal Injury Claim Form from the “Making a Claim” section. You will need to have this signed by the Belconnen Cats President prior to submitting it.
Complete the Claim Form and submit it to Echelon Australia within 180 days from the date of injury (sooner rather than later).
Do not wait for treatment to cease before making a claim
Details on amounts covered can be found here.
Talk to your Coach, Manager or a Committee member for further information.

Policies, Rules & Regulations
Keep yourself up to date with all the Policies, Rules and Regulations provided by AFL Canberra. We encourage you take the time to look over the Code of Conduct. A key document that helps keep our game safe, inclusive and seeks to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants.
You can view this through the AFL Canberra link here

Support the Cats by registering with Rebel Sport as a Belconnen Cats family when you visit the store.
Every dollar spent goes towards credits we can use for new equipment for our Cats teams.
