PlayHQ
From Season 2022 all Coaches and Team Managers will be able to access direct contact information for their team through PlayHQ
Coaches need to complete coaching accreditation each year through Coach AFL. Once you complete this, select your team as Belconnen Cats, then register as a volunteer through PlayHQ. The club can now grant you access to your team.

Team Managers can access their team contacts by registering with PlayHQ as a Team Manager. The club Registrar then appoints them to a team and you can view your team/squad on PlayHQ.
The PlayHQ Team Manager user guide is accessed here.

There will be information regularly updated and added through the AFL Club Help page including training and support resources to help you navigate PlayHQ.

Injuries & Insurance Claims
With the season now underway we may unfortunately (but hopefully not) see some serious injuries. It is often confusing about what we can do as a Club and how AFL Canberra supports us through this. If the injury sustained is significant you may wish to look into an Insurance claim. Marsh Insurance is the insurance company that covers the AFL & can provide this advice.

If an injury occurs to one of the clubs players or volunteers, you should do the following:
-
Visit the Marsh AFL website to read the Summary information
-
Download the Personal Injury Claim Form from the “Making a Claim” section. You will need to have this signed by the Belconnen Cats President prior to submitting it.
-
Complete the Claim Form and submit it to Echelon Australia within 180 days from the date of injury (sooner rather than later).
-
Do not wait for treatment to cease before making a claim
-
Details on amounts covered can be found here.

Talk to your Coach, Manager or a Committee member for further information.
